Leadership Germantown

"It wasn’t until I had the Leadership Germantown experience that I came to more fully understand everything that the City of Germantown has to offer its residents and/or employees. After working for Germantown schools for 9 years, I see more than ever not only the rich history of this city, but also the city’s motto of “Excellence, Every Day” genuinely embodied by each employee we had the fortune of engaging with through our journey as The LG Class of 2023.

The program provided an opportunity to have a better understanding of the operational and strategic planning side of city operations on a more in-depth and personal level, and included engagement in group discussions with top city leaders and officials. Leadership Germantown is an induction to full fledged service, community, and leadership in the city of Germantown. I’ve gained so much throughout this program: skills, knowledge, friends, and perspective that I could not get anywhere else.
